About the Symposium

The aim of this symposium is facilitate a scientific gathering of senior scientists from both universities to discuss the most prominent scientific developments and innovations in the fields of biomedical research, personalized medicine and drug discovery. In addition, this symposium will enable the exchange and sharing of expertise in the development and use of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data in medicine and biomedical research. A number of workshops will be organized alongside presentations of scientific posters to enhance the skills of attending researchers and students, and drive fruitful discussions.

Foster scientific cooperation between the University of Oxford and KAU.
Present and share successful experiences in deployment and use of AI and big data in medical research.
Provide an interactive environment between researchers and scientists from both universities.
Disseminate information about the latest technologies and innovations in field of biomedical research, personalized medicine and drug discovery.
Enable transfer of knowledge and localization of state-of-the-art technologies at KAU.
Open new avenues for future cooperation between both universities.
